Lead Free, Polyimide Label Materials for Printed Circuit Board Applications (PCB)
Polyonics is a global leader in high performance label materials that are engineered to survive in the harshest industrial environments, such as those common to electronics manufacturing.
Polyonics offers a wide variety of thermal transfer printable label materials that are designed to reach temperatures up to of 1000°F (538°C) for use in the circuit board industry. Our Lead free labels are REACH & RoHS compliant and can withstand the harshest chemicals, cleaners and solvents the industry has to offer. Whether your application calls for reflow soldering, traditional wave solder or a combination of the two, Polyonics Thermogard™ high temperature labels and Tribogard™ antistatic PCB labels offer the solution.
Polyonics' label materials meet the unique specifications of a wide variety of Mil-STD's, UL recognition, and ASTM requirements and have been tested and approved in independent outside laboratories.
High Temperature Thermogard™ products are coated label materials based on Kapton, Polyimide, PEI, and PEN films which are offered for product identification applications in electronics, electrical, automotive and aerospace manufacturing operations. Each material offers superior chemical and abrasion resistance. In addition, Kapton & polyimide materials can withstand temperatures up to 1,000°F (538°C).
Antistatic Tribogard™ offers static-safe coatings that help minimize the charge generated when the label is removed from the liner and can withstand manufacturing up to 617°F (325°C)
Polyimide Colors- Polyonics has expanded its product line to include topcoats in six colors that are available in one and two mil thickness. Each product has a semi-gloss finish based on the 58 series top coat chemistry and can withstand temperatures up to 550°F (287°C).
